Phonics

Our Phonics programme is Ready Steady Phonics from Literacy Counts.

Reading

Children follow the Ready Steady Phonics Scheme and read the decodable books from the scheme. They also have a reading for pleasure book to read at home.

Once children have completed the phonics scheme, they move onto Ready Steady Read Together.

Writing

We follow Ready Steady Write at Kings Moat Community Primary School.
